Fall is here, and that means it’s time for one of our favorite events of the year – Beekstar Fitness’ Annual Bring Your Own Pumpkin Workout! If you’re looking for a fun, festive way to stay active and celebrate the season, grab your pumpkin and come join us!

- Date: Sunday, October 27, 2024
- Time: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Location: White Lady’s Castle in Durand Eastman Park, Rochester, NY
- Cost: $15 per person may be paid via Eventbrite or Venmo @shane-biichle
- What to Bring: A pumpkin! (We recommend around 5-15 pounds for a challenge, but feel free to bring one that suits your fitness level.)
What to Expect:
This isn’t your average workout. We’re combining fitness with fall fun, and your pumpkin will be your workout buddy! The workout is designed to challenge your whole body, using the pumpkin as a weight for squats, lunges, presses, and more. It’s a great way to build strength, have some laughs, and enjoy the crisp fall air with fellow fitness enthusiasts.
Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, this event is perfect for all levels. Shane of Beekstar Fitness will guide you through each move, offering modifications to suit your abilities. Expect a dynamic mix of exercises that will leave you feeling stronger and ready to take on the rest of your day (and the fall season!).
Besides being a fun way to celebrate Halloween, using a pumpkin adds an extra challenge to your workout. It’s a natural, uneven weight, which activates your core and stabilizer muscles more than a regular dumbbell or kettlebell. Plus, it’s a creative way to switch things up from your usual routine and stay motivated!
